Companion Homelifts in house

As the emerging homelift market continues to see considerable growth as demand for home adaptations increases, Companion, a provider of stairlifts and accessible bathing solutions, has extended its product offer to include a new range of homelifts.

Manufactured in the UK, the new range of homelifts will join Companion’s straight and curved stairlifts solutions, as well as accessible bathing including walk-in showers, walk-in baths, wet rooms and the recently launched Showerpod.

Available from the 1st of October, the homelifts come in three options, with a choice of traction or hydraulic drive systems and a space-saving design with no obtrusive side posts due to a unique design featuring only rear posts.

The company says it is confident Companion will become retailers preferred partner for all their home adaptation leads, with David Harrison, Sales and Marketing Director for Companion, describing how the company’s various accreditations allows retailers to rest assured their leads will receive quality service.

“Our homelifts range extends our choice of solutions, making them suitable for even more people, from wheelchair users to those with complex staircases to those wanting a more discrete alternative,” he commented.

“Now retailers can choose one partner with the high standard of service and support they demand for all their home adaptation leads. We’re excited to provide our Accredited Partner network with greater choice, and the award-winning customer service we know they have come to expect across all our home adaptation ranges.”

The move to enter the sector will now see the home adaptations provider in direct competition with major players in the expanding homelift market, including Stiltz, Lifton and Terry Lifts.

Discussing the advantage of working with Companion in the homelift sector, David continued: “We’re giving retailers even more opportunities to grow their business by providing their customers with the products many of them are keen to buy in order to stay living independently in their homes.

“Demand for homelifts is on the increase, due in part to the ageing population and the fact that modern lifts have become more affordable. Our experience in the home adaptations market is considerable, and we’re confident this addition to our range of solutions will prove extremely popular with our partners and their customers.”

The company will provide retailers with a full suite of digital and print marketing information for homelifts via its online portal, with partners able to contact the Accredited Partner support team on 0800 620 0826.
