Oyster Mayfair has launched a new referral scheme for its Invisible Step Lift for mobility retailers so they can offer a discreet and unique solution to wheelchair users.

The Invisible Step Lift is a low-rise transfer lift that blends in with its surroundings and is stored under the floor or ground when not in use. It is designed to provide discreet disabled access for wheelchair users up and down steps where traditional ramps may not be a viable option.

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the lift is controlled via remote-control and the top surface can be finished in a variety of materials such as marble, brick, slate, wood, laminate and carpet.

The Invisible Step Lift is available in two models: Model V and Model VH. Model V is a vertical travel lift for up to 780mm where a series of steps are not involved. For instance, rooms with two floor levels or for travel from a driveway up to a ground floor front door.

Its second step lift, Model VH, is a horizontal as well as a vertical travel lift. Like Model V, it can travel vertically up to 780mm, but the top platform that the wheelchair stands on slides out horizontally up to 1,000mm, bridging the gap between the steps and floor level.

Oyster Mayfair is offering mobility stores in the UK a chance to earn up to £600 for every successful referral of its Step Lift that results in a sale. Additionally, the company says retailers will not have any expenses in participating in the referral commission scheme.

Participating stores will also be provided with free in-store posters, acrylic leaflet dispenser stands and leaflets by Oyster Mayfair.

The company added that they do not think retailers should be worried about its innovative Invisible Step Lift competing with their existing product range as most stores will not have been involved in promoting a comparable product.
